When gel packs aren't enough

Frozen packs buy you a day at best. Sometimes you need longer: a week away, a long haul with a layover, a place you can't rely on having a fridge you'd trust when you arrive.

The Everwell Fridge is actively powered. Set the temperature you want, plug it in, and it holds it, not for a few hours but for as long as it has power.

Set it, read it

A digital display on the lid shows the current internal temperature, with plus and minus controls to set your target. No app, no pairing, no menu to learn. Two buttons and a number.

Same principle as the Case. You're not asked to trust that it's working, you can see that it is.

Power and capacity

It runs from mains power, and the exact input options and battery behaviour are printed on the unit and in the box. If your setup is specific, whether that's a car socket on a long drive, a hotel room with awkward sockets, or a long-haul seat with no power, tell us what you need before ordering and we'll confirm whether this is the right unit for it.

Interior capacity is sized for small items rather than bulk. If you're carrying an unusual amount, ask first.

Which one do you need?

Choose the Case for a day out, a commute, or anywhere you'll be back within the day. No power needed, nothing to charge.

Choose the Fridge for multi-day trips, or anywhere you can't count on refrigeration at the other end.

Plenty of people carry both. The Fridge holds the supply, the Case carries the day.

Sized for items up to 17cm plus the small pieces that go with them: spares and a gel pack. If you want to be certain yours fits, email us the make and we'll measure it against the case and tell you straight.

1. Freeze both gel packs for at least 6 hours. Overnight is better.
2. Seat one pack in the base and one in the lid recess.
3. Load the case and close the zip fully.
4. Check the display. It reads the internal temperature.

Don't rest anything directly against a frozen pack. The interior is shaped to prevent this, so use it as designed.

The case has no batteries in the cooling system and nothing that needs charging, so it travels as ordinary carry-on.

Gel packs are generally permitted in cabin baggage when frozen solid, but the rules genuinely differ by country and by airline, and they change. Every aviation authority words it slightly differently, and the final call is always the officer in front of you. Check your airline before you fly.

Carry it in the cabin rather than checked luggage. Hold temperatures aren't controlled.

The display runs on a replaceable button cell, pre-installed. It reads in Celsius.

It's an indicator, not a laboratory instrument, and we'd rather you treated it that way. Put a thermometer you trust in the case alongside it. If the display is obviously wrong, tell us and we'll replace the case. No return needed.
